What are you playing these days?
I can tell by my PSN that almost everyone I know in the universe is playing The D. I skipped it. Been playing a lot of bits of things, nothing 24/7. But games I have been:
* Salt & Sanctuary - really fun Soulslike Metroidvania RPG. Currently playinng a dude named Goosepickles, who wields greatswords and magic.
* Sniper Elite 3 - it was cheap, and it's relaxing shooting Nazis in the dick.
* Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - see previous. Also, had it for ages, just haven't gotten around to it, but LOVED the Wolfenstein reboot.
Can't think of much else at the moment, lol. Like I said, not much playing time these days.

I accidentally clicked league of Legends the other day, it froze my computer. Not a fun game.
I am playing fallout 4, blops 3, Arkham Knight.

Anything but Battlefield. Currently trying to get the platinum trophy or complete a game 100% trophy wise which means I'll eventually have to go back to play BF4 again just to get the platinum for it. I'm not excited for it. :/

I probably do haha. At least on the PS4 version. I know for sure I need to get 5 wins in Obliteration or whatever the Search & Destroy equivalent is called on BF4. Can't remember what other multiplayer trophies there are for that game though.
Re: What are you playing these days?
The thought of trying to plat BF4 makes me nauseous. Goooood luck, lol.

I looked at it and I don't think it's that bad. Just got to play the campaign and getting trophies isn't too much of an issue for multiplayer.

I think Killjoy, Meat and Baker would be down for some noob/scrub owning this weekend.limitless wrote:GoMonkey66 wrote:The thought of trying to plat BF4 makes me nauseous. Goooood luck, lol.

Just need 2 multiplayer trophies on the PS4, deliver 5 bombs in Obliteration, and 45 kills with the M1911. That shouldn't be too bad. Maybe a couple of hours worth...unless I really push to get the trophies which in that case would only be an hour and then it would be off to campaign.
Re: What are you playing these days?
I plat'd BF4.......the Obliteration one took the longest. But that was because i was by myself. the salt was real.

Grind Smite. You can actually get on a team and try for the open bracket competitions.

Re: What are you playing these days?
This happened about 2-3 weeks ago but I thought I'd share anyways. I was working to get the platinum trophy in Gran Turismo 6 and one of the trophies requires you to win a race by a thousandth of a second (.001).
It can be quite challenging to win a race that close and with the GT AI the way it is, you'll most likely have to pace yourself in order to win a race that close. I probably spent at least half an hour if not more trying to get this trophy.
I was pretty pissed off when this happened. I never knew a tie could happen in this game...or at least I've never ever had a tie race or heard of one in GT before.
Success!
Anyways, I was able to get the platinum trophy after cleaning up the remaining trophies I needed and a day or two later, I got this in my email.
I guess this is kind of cool.

Re: What are you playing these days?
That IS really cool! That's a dickmove level trophy to make you get (the win by a thousandth one). Awesome work, that takes a lot of dedication.
Are you playing any Driveclub or Project Cars?

I've been actually working on trying to either complete trophies for games 100% or getting the platinum for them lately so it takes a lot of dedication. A lot of the trophies in the games I've played can be quite annoying.
I have the PS+ version of Driveclub but I could never really get into it. I'll try again though now that I'll be online on the ps4 more often.
As for Project Cars, I'd probably buy it if I see a good sale on it.
Re: What are you playing these days?
Pcars is great, but is so "sim-like" that I can't have fun playing it without a wheel and pedal setup. With the proper gear it's fantastic. DC is fun and looks great and plays fast, but is a lot more arcade in physics and play. Not totally arcade, I mean, weather affects grip and whatnot, but comparing the two it's a lot more Ridge Racer than GT6.

True, I've heard good things about Asetto Corsa from PC gamers. But I'm sort of in the same boat as you are right now. It's not really worth getting serious or invested in a racing game without a wheel. I did a majority of my driving in GT6 with a wheel and that was fun. Trying to get the rest of the trophies for the platinum took some effort and getting used to with a controller. It's definitely not as immersive or precise, that's for sure.
If there was a racing game I would pick up day one, it probably would be Gran Turismo as that's the racing franchise that I grew up with. But if I saw a good sale on the other games, I definitely would consider picking them up.
Re: What are you playing these days?
AC is ridiculous, lol. Tire flat spots, blistering, and graining. I'm hosed, lol. I'm a late braker in corners and I'm tough on tire life, lol.

Haha, yeah, I like braking late too which is why I like time trials more than anything. In your standard racing affair, you have to be more patient and I always feel like I'm in a race against time which doesn't typically work out so well for me.
Re: What are you playing these days?
Im playing Overwatch now. I even got in a couple games with Decreped.
The game is very fun. If you communicate, you can dominate in this game. I just need to get a new headset because my kid took it over to play Euro truck.
