Review: Metacritic

REALLY been enjoying this game.  I finally got new glasses so I can actually see what I'm doing in it now, lol. I am not a fan of the Souls series, but I AM a big fan of Castlevania, and this borrows heavily from both.  The devs are literally a husband and wife team who have mostly does Xbawkz and Steam games that I've never played (The Dishwasher, for one). There are something like 300 different items, 25 bosses, almost a hundred enemy types, multiple classes, and a massive skill tree.  There's a wiki but much f the game is trial and error and false starts...I'm on my fifth "ok, here goes" play attempt, lol...lots to learn as you go.  Started off as a Thief but I ALWAYS do that, so now I'm doing something different...a Mage. Mages in this game can use swords (or anything really, depending on how you build), so technically I'm a Battlemage, since I use both magic and two handed Greatswords. Anyway, enough about me...

If you like "hard" games that don't punish you with roguelike permadeath, and you like indie devs, and are a fan of beautiful art and narrative styled games, give this a shot.
