One week to the super duper hype reveal.  My guess is since COD went all "future wars", so will BF...but we'll have 5,000% more gadgets, reskinned guns, auto-lock-on launchers, drones, UAVs, aim assist, DLC weapon skins, ugly dog tags, extra-bad netcode, no regional locks for servers, LOLvolution, and Chinese/North Korean bad guys...

Because why innovate when you can recreate?

My guess: Battlefield 2143

If they want to be complete dicks, they can name it Bad Company 3 and add in jetpack exoskeletons with minigun robot arms. ohhh yea, thatll rustle some jimmies

Battlefield Vietnam would be cool, I would like a Battlefield in the Middle East but that's just me.

I had an amazing write-up detailing all the weaponry from the Vietnam era, and how it would be boring as a setting because of the limited nature, but then my Mac POS fucked me and deleted it all before I could hit send.  So suffice to say that as a setting, yes, it would be cool, but as a pool of weapons, vehicles, and equipment, it would suck.

also, find it hard to get excited about a WWI game.  Such a shitty war.

Im just glad they arent going with the futuristic thing that every one is doing now. and i defently remember them teasing the WW1 era like way back so this is kinda cool

The only thing im worried about.........on release, 20% vanilla BF1, 80% upcoming DLC
