Mewithoutyou - meh...those guys are trying WAY too hard to sound quirky and be cool and hip. They're no They Might Be Giants.

+1 for As I Lay Dying...that's a good album. They are technically excellent musicians, and I love metal, but I'm SO tired of that style of vocals. All the young kids are singing that way these days, but it was done best in the early 90's (I'll post some stuff later). Still...good stuff when you're in the mood.

Neon Horse - weird...I've heard that song, but had no idea what it was. I liked it. I have a lot less to say about things the more I like them.

I like this thread idea! You always have weird annoying songs in your head, but I never actually know what you like to listen to. Keep it up...I may make my thread tomorrow too, lol. It'll be hard because I don't obsess over music like I used to, and I'm not up on "new" stuff, but I DEFINITELY have some variety...between your thread and mine hopefully we'll put a dent in all this crap robot music and gangsta yelling shit these other guys are posting...

That song from mewithoutyou was a newer album and that really was the only song I liked from it.
Yeah I thought the same exact thing that you said but it slowly grew on me.

Yeah, used to love that style of music back in my middle school days and once in a blue moon I feel the need to listen to it. For the most part though I skip it when it is on shuffle.
