On battlelog, Overview, down the page there's a skill under kill streak bonus. What does that mean? My SKILL is higher than my S/M.

Skill = 331

S/M = 312

OK yes, i do get show offy every now and then and i do have other flaws, yes. sometimes i do it without even noticing it. but those are like facebook statuses.....no one comments about it and no one cares, it just adds to my "Moral" if you will. and yes i do say im awesome. that isnt supposed to be taken as is. im not a stuck up little kid that is spolied because we get 10k every week.

And one of the things I hate most is arguing. So im done, and i dont care.

Skill level.... One week I will be close to 600 the other I am down to 400. It is really dumb stat. Some where in the battlelog threads they explain it.

Edit: skill level is calculated on skill of the players you kill and get killed by afaik. Absolutely pointless 2bh but they were adamant on keeping it in BF3 even after if was completely broke in BC2

Skill Level:

If you kill someone with a higher skill then you then your skill goes up. If you kill someone with a lower skill then you your skill goes down.
Depending how high or low the one you killed is will affect how far your skill will go up or down. Skill isn't really a stat to measure "skill" it's more of a stat(istic) to measure the average skill of the enemies you kill.

This coupled with the terrible match making makes it a very unreliable stat. For example if you join a match with a friend who's rank 5 chances are he's in a lobby with a bunch of noobs. You being the experienced one dominate the entire lobby but because they all have lower ranks your skill level actually falls. Likewise you can join a regular match, find the highest skilled player there and only kill him, several times. Your skill will raise and you didn't do anything to the team but kill one person 3 or 4 times.

Except for yesterday. The games i join recently are unfare. Full of generals on one side and me as the only general on the other side. To make it worst, my team takes tanks as sniper guns, never leaving the base and not going for flags. Or they write on walls with torches, or stand at deployment waiting for a jet to spawn (while someone is using it). They do not even go for the FUCKING FLAG!!!! Or use mave as elevators, how are they helping the team with a 2 kills and 6 death, 200 points for the entire game because mister wanted to snipe from on top of the highest highway.

Yesterday played Rush. There seemed to be less noobs in Rush (or i was lucky).
