All you have got to do is get 20 kills with any LMG + 2 mortar kills and then you get the QBB-95 and then you move on to get a 100 kills + 50 supression assists + 50 resupplies and then you get the MG36!!!!

Disappointed in B2K.
Why couldn't they make it a simple conquest match?
When the other team gets full capped it shouldn't be an insta win... Maybe for operation metro but the B2K maps are huge. Flanking is easy.

And VoIP is still crap. So that is a two horrible things about this game.
Skyrim is looking better each time I play this game.
After finals I will spoil myself with a new game. Smile

How do you know voip is bad? Nobody uses their mics! That insto win full cap thing goes back to the origonal maps in Bf2...the Russians didn't have bases so they started with flags. Its just a different vibe...they need to immediately cap and hold.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one.. but once I'm in a squad of 4, I cannot hear shit people saying, it is chopping like a fucking strobe. The worst is DaN, whenever he speaks, I don't hear instructions properly.. altho I hear him yell when we don't listen Razz

You guys are having similar issues as well? Or my headset suck? (It's working fine on any other games)

yeah, i have similar issues. it gets old having to repeat myself cause the mic cuts out. i call enemies out and i tell people in tanks to stop so i can repair but im not sure if im even heard sometimes.

Not just you...happens to all of us I think. Sound cuts out and all you can hear is your footsteps, then everything is fine after you fire, etc. Surround sound is also kind of junky compared to BFBC2...seems less directional and accurate. In that game I could tell how far away a tank was, which direction it was moving, and if someone's footsteps were close by or not. In this one it seems much less directional and distance based...you either hear it or not, and sounds seem to pile up. You can still hear things near you and their direction, but much less accurately.

What audio setting do you use with your headset? I think the best all around one is Home Theater. War Tapes is overblown noisy garbage, and headphones doesn't help with actual surround. My headset is a 7.1 dolby digital one, so any truly surround setting sounds great (usually), but I'm not really happy overall with the sound in this game. Guns and vehicles sound great, but the dropouts and lack of definition are another sign of the game being rushed to market, IMO. They wanted to beat MW3 out the gates so badly they left a lot of polish out of the game, unfortunately.

...and yes, DaN is the choppiest. Usually. Not all the time, but more often than not, even in the menus. In game it comes and goes. I think it's dependent on where the server is located. I always pick US West, he picks US East.

I left it at default for the sounds, didn't see any difference if I put it on "headphones". Does it make weird noise when I speak (except my awful accent)? My mic is always popping on for no reasons

the VOiP works best when its just 2 people talking, i can hear fine with the occasional skip.

and yes, i hate it when it gets all quiet. but its not your surround sound setup, its..........the game.

I think its all area based, because I can always hear Dan, Maybe because we live so close to each other? I don't know but the only times VOIP gets annoying is when the entire server is just laggy.

I usually hear the West coasters fine (monkey, cullen and kaumatizo). When he rages, I dont even need a mic to hear monkey.

Can anyone hear enemy footsteps? I have never been able to hear them, unlike BFBC2 where you could here someone running up behind you. I sure as shit can hear my own footsteps which are too loud IMO.

Honestly I don't think footsteps in a fps shooter game is all that realistic. Especially when there is gun fire and explosions going on all around. Maybe some footsteps when on metal objects...like stairs.

I can hear cullen and monkey the best. Last night Dan was getting all mad but it was all choppy...lol. "Wh....re...oo...uys...ome...n...We still won though.

I wasn't talking all the much last night mostly because I was too focused on trying to learn the new maps... Crying or Very sad

Mostly a nit, because my footsteps are so loud I would expect that I would not be the only person who can hear them. but thought it was decently balanced in BFBC2 where you could hear people behind you if they were running close to you and it was quiet. Not like COD games where you can hear people 15 feet away.
