BATTLEFIELD 3...NOW FOR REAL

2 games last night and then the servers shit the bed.

If anyone has ever heard of Battlefieldo, I recommend you stop reading it. It takes itself to seriously and when you point out a basic mistake like "The SCAR-H CQB is in 7.62x51mm as opposed the the powerful 7.62x39mm AK-47 round", you're told not to disrespect someone's hard work. When somebody is so fucking stupid they can't even read what it says on the battlelog (which actually got it right surprisingly) or god forbid, WIKIPEDIA, and are getting such basic facts wrong on a "GUN SPOTLIGHT", you seriously need to be sterilized so you can't continue to breed.

I really really really want to stop using engineer. As much as I love my Swiss Miss, I feel like I have to go engi almost every map because most engineers on the team have no idea how to do RPG/SMAW vs Tank without getting killed after the first shot. No idea how to flank the tank (unintentional rhyme) and they'll shoot while the main gun is pointed directly at them. Fighting tanks either with hand held launchers or with another tank is an artform that requires teamwork and cooperation. Fighting tanks in Operation Flashpoint comes to mind as a good example.

The game revolves around the engenier class, BC2 classes were a bit more balanced somehow. I'm not sure how this is possible but I'll begin by saying the medic class was defiantly too much in BC2 but aside form that al the fact that medics were useless against vehicles the teams were pretty balanced in most maps (we all know infantry maps resulted in medic trains sometimes).

In BF3 I do like how the medic and support are set up, but the engineer has too much to not even consider it being your number one class. What's not to like? Assault rifles, carbines, ROCKETS!! On the other hand I feel the recon class could use a bit of help, no not in the weapons department but in gadgets or anti vehicle specialties. Soflam, and MAV are very well thought out team gadgets but there's something missing that maybe we could take from the engineer class...

Recons need balls and the bolts need a close range OHK buff.

Engineer just has everything you need. Close range dominance, medium range effectiveness and rockets for long range. The game is favored towards engineers so heavily, I can't think of a map where an engineer wouldn't dominate. Amazing against infantry and perfect against vehicles, there really is no reason to not play Engineer besides "diversity". Sure, its nice to be revived, get ammo for your gun or know where your enemy is, but I can pick up other engi kits (seeing how everyone uses engi), I can wait to respawn and I usually know the paths most people come down anyway. If there was a 12 v 12 of engineers, DICE would probably say "Mission Accomplished", shut down the BF3 servers and fly off into space to the space station they built with all the money they got from BF3.

They should of made it so the recon class got claymores that way they couldn't resupplie them self just saying.

Well, i have now decided that the Tungska will be my fav vehicle. im at 408 kills, i just need to overtake my Little Bird with 587. it just seems so overpowered to me. a couple hits at any (and i mean any) range and they are dead. then it can take care of the heli's and tanks (if you know what your doing)

I prefer actual tanks against tanks. I agree though, it does kick people in the junk and is definitely a little OP especially since hits to the rear aren't automatic disables anymore.

I never get bored in the Tungaska. Just unlocked thermal optics for it. Oh my, get the fuck out of the way. It's the guardian for the Airfield on Wake Island. Those 28 minutes in it have been great. If you in a chopper on Wake Island, first priority should be to get rid of that fucker. It has nice range on it's AA missles and if you get to low it will take you out of the sky quick.

Eventually. Its not announced officially yet but BF3 will certainly get BC DLC unless DICE is fucking stupider than anybody can possibly imagine.

Yup. 145'000 total. I personally feel they should all end with the same amount but you know DICE, the kings of balance. Make the best class also the class that gets everything first.
