what's to discuss? look back at this very thread and you'll see every point he came to write about we have already discussed weeks if not months ago. in fact this entire thread is not aobut BF3 anymore but about the lack of support and... nvm I'm not gonna repeat what we all heard a million times already.

Some people are incredibly dense and stupid. What we saw immediately takes time to sink in for fanboys and the hopelessly optimistic. I do think the article gives too much credit to DICE. DICE could always say "Fuck you assholes" and start over with another publisher.

Tonight was fun...between chasing of USAS scrubs and raping the piss out of those dudes on Firestorm and then finishing up in a close match with a bunch of pretty well coordinated guys that resorted to the USAS and STILL got hammered while we carried those awful smurfs...so satisfying.

Here's how DICE can bring me back: Fix you fucking game. The next patch is nice but a lot more needs to be done. How about keeping lobbies full and just flat out removing Frag Rounds from the game?

i just unlocked the frags to the USAS yesterday. Now i don't have slugs yet. But isn't the slugs better than the frags?? Taxi??

ppl who use frags don't seem to be actually aiming with it. And my experience is that it takes a few hits before a kill with frags. Slugs should kill with 1 hit (have not tried yet but....)!

Thoughts?!?!

The problem with slugs is that DICE forgot to change the crosshair when you equip them so hip firing them is pretty inaccurate. You lose either the 1st shot or the 1st second to aim down the sights with slugs.
Frags you don't have to aim, even if you miss chances are there's a wall behind the enemy where the frag explodes and takes damage from the enemy. You can literally shoot ar a corner where you know there's an enemy and never even seem the player yet still get the kill. Frags are like slugs in that they also travel long distances and will only explode on impact so you have long range and if 2 enemies are next to each other you're very likely to get the collateral.
The only other load out that makes sense is buck shot and that is only in very close quarters where frags might be too dangerous to use since they can kill the user if they hit the wall 3ft away. Still they only make sense in close quarters, frags are great at mid to long, at taking groups on enemies and if used properly can also be managed in close proximity.

What a load of crap. True "silencers" on shotguns would weigh more than the actual shotgun. These are just "surpressed". Silencers on shotguns is more of a "Ha ha here's some proof it can be done" concept as opposed to a practical piece of equipment. Just look at virtually all revolvers made by Mateba. All concept revolvers with no real practical purpose.

i was actually liking the slugs for the USAS. i think its a OHK in the head. up close at least

yeah, fun times. Those guys on Firestorm were pretty bad pilots but just kept at it. Even got two unguided tank shell vehicle kills. good to be back.

I'm no good at sniping. Just like i'm no good at flying. But i will take on the challenge of sniping at a later point in the game.

I could use help at getting my AIR WARFARE MEDAL. Do you need a gunner for that many matches?? Lol.
