As much as i absolutely love these maps, I worry about 24 player counts on consoles. They are huge, and they say they aren't making them smaller for consoles, so it could be like a half full Caspian server all the time, in terms of action. I'm glad we will be able to throw them in regular Conquest rotations though...

People will just have to put aside their stat padding and overly inflated SPM and just enjoy the AK maps for what they are...they will be fun and at a different pace. Hell, they might even prove to be much more tactical. At least moreso than the retarded bunnyhopping ring around the Rosie steeplechase that is Close Quarters. That shit is fun for two rounds then it just bores the shit out of me...endless C4ing, Rambo revives, and shotgun faggots...so stupid.

Call me a camping faggot, but I think maps like Alborz Mountain would be awesomely fun to have sniper battles on. Ginger and I were talking about it last night, and I was thinking it would be really fun if they had a "sniper mode", say a map like Alborz with really long sight lines, hideyholes, little buildings and cover to hide in, with one flag, no vehicles, and sniper rifles only...sort of a Tank Superiority, but without the tanks and a little different rules. Maybe something like a ticket count of 50 or something, or attack/defend sides like Rush. Say one or two sets of MCOMS in a totally exposed building surrounded by lots of high vantage points and open terrain. Attackers would have to coordinate and figure out the best way to get in, defenders would be sniping, and the building would be off limits to them until it was armed, then they would have to get in and disarm while the attackers were defending from inside. Sure, the games could be long, slow, and would rape SPM, but it would be fun to do for some people (and would also keep the non-PTFOers out of regular games somewhat). IDK...just thinking out loud.

I was thinking of the "no crossing" games on Vigilance in Socom 2, lol. I suppose a server could be set up that way somewhat if you turned off the minimap and spotting, didn't have respawns, and limited weapons, and had people actually stick to the rules of where you could and couldn't go...
