All things considered, I think England did well. For one, it was hot as fuck, lol. Yes, they played defensively, but it was more of a makeshift lineup. They held their shape really well and they were extremely disciplined. There were a few moments early on where they looked great going forwards, and Oxlade-Chamberlain looked inspired. Welbeck was ineffective and if they took him off earlier and put on Plan B (Carroll) it may have given France some pause. I thought Gerrard and Johnson looked fantastic (not just my Liverpool bias, lol). Milner also looked meh.

For France, they were really good in the middle third, but England basically just gave it to them. Cabaye and Benzema especially. That back line is going to fuck them at some point though...Mexes is a donkey, lol.

UKR/SWE was a good game! Fucking Sweden is HUGE, lol. I thought they would really hammer them, but they didn't manage much. Zlatan looked OK, but that was mostly it. For Ukraine, I thought Voronin looked damn good for a midget, lol. And Sheva...fuck, what can you say? Pure class...that was a vintage display, even with Mellberg trying to rape him the entire game.

Glad we are done with the first round...been some good stuff, but I want to see some action now and teams going for wins. Poland/Russia could spell some trouble...worried about that game and the drama surrounding it.

Was happy with a point from the smelly french but i fear we're lacking some serious clout up front.

Wellbeck had his moments but in all honestly i can't wait until Rooney's suspension's over. Think what you want but he'll run for the full 90 mins non stop. Just needs the support from Young & Chamberlain.

Speaking of which, Chamberlain had a good game all things considered. Handled himself very well.

Defence looked reasonably solid. Parker played his balls off in midfield.

Shame about the rest of it. Solid individual displays but as a whole going forward there wasn't much to boast about. I fear better teams will pick us apart.

Russia & Poland was a decent watch. Ruskies should have won but just got cockblocked during the 2nd half. Poland playing with a lot more balls than their 1st game.

Poland showed a lot of spirit...and that goal was fanfuckingtastic. So glad the fucking commie assholes (from Russia) didn't win.

Couldn't be bothered to pay attention or give a fuck about CZE/GRE.
