Are you using the server browser, and filtering out non- North American servers? Also, pick them by the lowest ping (the "cell phone signal strength" indicator on the far right).

Yup. Rubberbanding back and forth and shooting guys that aren't where they actually are.

for everything. I find myself thinking about what to press all the time. I'm used to BC1 controls, L1 zoom, L2 nade, R2 SWITCH FUCKING WEAPON.

BETA, they switched the L1 and L2, no biggie

Now I don't have a choice, all the layouts have to have the triangle switching the weapon, it's stupid and it forces you to stop aiming just to switch weapons, you know when you most need to aim.

And as for the vehicle, yea that's pretty dumb too imo. Why do they always fuck with your shit for. it was fine, don't break it.

Voice goes in and out, it was mostly good for me today. Still pleanty of lag/rubberbanding.

Planes are impossible to fly with any control for me. Will practice later.

Positive side, grenade launcher actually launches a grenade, rather than shooting a cherry bomb 3 inches, they're actually useful; grenades have more throwing range; this is more personal, but I like the recoil of the guns; and I like the way they did scopes, both acog, and rifle scopes. Negatives: Rubber knife doing damage but not killing; new helicopter controls, but I never was a good helicopter pilot; flashlights making my whole screen go white; little bullet penetration it seems at least; and the whole new map concept of urban warfare. I miss atacama. Finally the campaign after the first mission seemed cool until the tiring flashback story popped up. Wondering what anyone who's played it thinks.

The one thing that could possibly compensate for the lag, goofing around on the mic, is kinda gone. DICE, why beta work better than full release?

I like the recoil too...I also like the inertia physics when you are aiming. People bitch that it's "aim lag", but it's just a subtle dose of realism. The knife will kill in one shot of you get them from behind. I got two dudes in a row looking out a window trying to shoot Raz with Stingers. Note to Stinger users: that target acquisition and lock tone? Other people can hear it...it was hilarious. Heli controls are weird...still need to get used to them myself, but Crep and Raz are doing awesome with them. Fucking HATE the flashlights and the lasers. A laser prijects a DOT, not a giant cone...unless they are trying to tell us that anyone aiming at you is aiming bullets directly into your eyeball. I totally love the maps...all of them are great. I don't miss Atacama AT ALL, lol. Always hated it. As for the campaign, there's a thread for that so Crazy's panties stay unbunched,

Flashlights + lag even harder to kill the guy. One, my reaction time is slightly delayed because I've just been blinded and two, the guy isn't even where I'm aiming because of the awful lag. Lasers are just as stupid. The attachments in general I feel are unrealistic, but they have to be for balance. Why does a heavy barrel reduces recoil? The only disadvantage to a heavier barrel is more weight. I'm sure the game will get better after the first few patches, so I hope DICE is busting their asses working on them.
