I hope the parachute doesn't deploy automatically on the basejump...It'll be fun to have contests and play chicken with the ground. Hell, it'll be fun if you can just NOT deploy the 'chute and just go splat! and respawn up top over and over...

Actually, looking at how far it is, I don't think anyone can really effectively snipe from there...it's a looooong way down.

Talked to the guy at EB Games (Canadian GameStop owned by GameStop) when I picked up R&C about how I'd be there next week.
I asked: "Who won't be there?"
He says: "People who didn't pre order BF3"
I say: "Who didn't order BF3?"
He says: "A lot of people"
He said it in less of an informative way, and more of a bragging way. He was also surprised I wasn't picking up the Batman game. I try to buy all my games at either Best Buy or Toys R Us where video games are an after thought so they don't give a shit about them.
