The normal SPAS-12 was able to switch between both, just like my beloved Benelli M3 except the process wasn't as easy. They did make semi auto only and pump action oly versions of the SPAS but they are rarely featured in games. Devs usually just pick one mode and go "Suck our penises, we suck at making weapons even remotely authentic"

Seeing how DICE can make it so you can have both pump and semi, I think DICE will find a way to fuck up and make the SPAS-12 full auto.

yep. i noticed that games keep it either semi or pump. never both.

i honestly like to see a pump only version. adds competition to the 870. but i do think they will make it fully auto. for some reason

Battlefield 3 is a service? They have people all over the world working on it 24/7? Then why is it broken six months after release? Where are our patches, DLC, and promised apps? What kind of "service" delivers nothing? And then you want us to PAY for that service in the future? Fucking EA...these guys are unreal.

It doesn't matter what you all say or discuss, it doesn't matter what the fans say or ask for anymore. The BF fans have long been forgotten, EA with the release of BF3 managed to give DICE a huge population of have been CoD fans that overwhelm the BF fans by far, those are the only fans that matter now.

I'm actually just fine with a close quarters focused DLC, I don't care one way or another...more maps, more weapons, more ways to play. I just don't like that they put that out FIRST, of the three announced ones. No matter what they say about not trying to copy COD, they ARE very obviously trying to appeal to that type of player, and to cater to their tastes. And hell, if it frees up squad slots on CQ maps while these stat padding whores ~~like Sonic~~ go play this shit, then fine...I'm all for that.

Servers going offline tonight at 1 am PST for an hour...patch drops tomorrow, I can feel it. It went to Sony and Ms on the 13th for certification, and that takes a week. Tomorrow is new shit in the psn day...makes sense.
